Village Seafood MarketTo whomever it was that came on the Citizen and recommended eating at the Village Seafood Market, all I have to say is thank you. I went there for lunch today with one of the little gitlets and I had the fried shrimp and fried oysters. It was outstanding. I look forward to buying some fresh seafood from there and taking Mrs. Git there real soon. Some of the other menu items are: Softshell crab plate New England style whole fried clams Catfish special 1/4 lb. fried shrimp basket with hushpuppies for only $5.50. The gitlet loved them. Coleslaw - pretty good Creamy shrimp with rosemary Fish plates Scallops with bacon Tuna K-Bobs Gumbo etc, et al.... Not to mention the fresh fish for your own favorite dishes. Another fine touch to add ambiance your fine dining experience is the friendliness of the Asian owners and their choice of fine classic country music to set the tone. It's at the corner of Hwy 54 & Robinson Road in the same building as the Chevron station. They weren't busy, they cooked it up fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. There...
