Tyrone and this paper

Last week, this paper seemed Smolorised.... The John and John show made inappropiate smug remarks at the new government we worked so hard to get, and you wrote an editorial slamming them as well.

Your John and John was talked about by many in Tyrone and not liked by anyone except two people that appeared inccoherent, at best at the 1st meeting.

Your John and John seemed not to mention the clown show we put up with, but instead, tried to bloody our new government.

This last meeting they voted that night to change our legal organ to the Citizen. Tracy Young, last meeting said lets get quotes...thank God...The Citizen was so much higher, and you still might have prevaled except for the slanted remarks by your staff. The grass root effort to get them in office, also was a grass roots plea not to use you after that.

Sorry, you had the business, but your own staff insulted our best, putting their nose up the butt of the joke of Tyrone.
You should have seen the face of one of "your Johns" when they took a vote not to use you.

No one was asking you to do us any favors
but you should have reported the news. Maybe Smella will send you a check.

For explaining why the Tyrone Council didn’t go with the Citizen for legal advertising. I was surprised at the abrupt turn around deciding to continue with Fayette News. I did know that Ben Nelms and John Thompson would not report on numerous problems created all during 2007 by the Old Council & Barry. Both of them told me they would not do any investigative reporting. Then I was surprised to see the favorable article for Smola by Thompson last week. Well, that’s the way it goes. If you don’t do balanced reporting, you have to pay the price. When you put your money on Smola, you bet on a losing dog.

is that the administrators of Tyrone are a bunch of whiners crying because someone hurt their feelings and that is why they did not choose "The Citizen". If your statement is true than the fact that "The Citizen" was not chosen is just one more example of the unethical government in Tyrone.

I said nothing of the kind. What I said was the taxpayers of Tyrone heard the John and John pod cast and found it insulting and slanted. We, the taxpayers, called our elected officals and made it known that we objected to our tax dollars being paid for that. The elected officals, took note of those comments, and the fact that the citizen was almost twice as much as the other paper. It was a no brainer. Why? Do you think we should pay almost twice as much?
