McIntosh Boys gave Fayette a Scare, tuesday night.

McIntosh Boys are starting to show their potential. Look for a second half run and some scores to correct first half loses.
This team is fun to watch. Area Tournament will be peak time.
Oh, and Wait 'til next year.

I sincerely doubt that the McIntosh boys, talented as they are, will ever go anywhere under coach Jason Eisele.

He's the coach who got into a bit of trouble a few years back depriving his kids of water breaks to "toughen them up". Dehydration is for sissies!

Coach Eisele's most infamous moment, though, was a few years back at the annual McIntosh/Starr's Mill game at McIntosh. It was probably the best game ever between the two, both sides played their collective hearts out. I don't think either team ever had a lead of more than two points.

It came down to the final possession with McIntosh trailing by two. Eisele runs out on the floor (!!!) and yells instructions to his players. Ref gave him a warning to get off the floor. Eisele sits down. Clock is winding down to 10 seconds. McIntosh steals the ball and races up the court. 5 seconds...4 seconds....Eisele runs on the floor AGAIN and yells at his players. McIntosh shoots and SCORES, but ref blows the whistle.

No basket, technical foul on McIntosh Coach for being on the floor.

Starrs Mill makes the technical foul, gets the ball, runs out the clock. Starrs Mill wins by 3.

Parents were ready to LYNCH him.

McIntosh has been playing Varsity basketball since 1984. In his SECOND year as head coach of the Varsity basketball team Coach Eisele led his team to McIntosh's FIRST EVER showing at the state playoffs. In this, his third year he has his team poised to return for a second time.
Your opinion, while protected by your constititional right, appears to be based on embarassment by a player with less than stellar abilities.
So wipe your sniffles and go out to support a well disciplined team coached by a leader with his players best interest at heart.

Just an FYI, when you send nastygrams through the Citizen's email-this-user system, they're not really anonymous...you can see who the originating email address was. Smiling

It looks like the will and talent of this team is taking over and they are starting to do it their way.
