We had discussed the East Fayette By-pass a while back, and questioned the reasoning behind this plan. I noticed yesterday, however, I couldn't read all of the sign because I was driving, there will be a zoning meeting on 1/31. I'll have to check for further details and info.

Why do they put those signs where people are driving along and cannot read the paragraph on the sign!!! At any rate I caught another line or two yesterday - meeting 5-7 at East Fayette Elementary, January 31, 2008. I'm not sure what my schedules will be so not certain if I can be there; however, I'm hoping someone from my neighborhood will attend.

Found it. I hope the link works. I got it off the Fayette County site homepage:

Yup, that Cy, what a guy!

My concerns are that "veering easterly" part, wonder how easterly and how it concerns my backyard.

Is there anything one can do when this happens? I'm sure one ole gal ain't gonna stop the road, but what can a person do?

I know there is one house on the corner that will be totally taken out, are those folks compensated for that? How does that work? Can a person be compensated for losing part of their property? I simply have no idea how this sort of thing works. Maybe one of our resident lawyers can shine a little light on the subject. I still believe there are wetland types of property along this route, and I'm just confused.

So many questions, hmmmmmmmm
