Spring Hill Elementary celebrated the completion of the fifth grade Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program with a ceremony. All students were recognized and awarded a certificate to celebrate their participation in the program. In addition, five fifth-graders received special recognition for their outstanding essays. These essays described the impact the police-led DARE program had on their lives when faced with making positive choices to resist peer pressure, violence, drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
