Constitutional Change
Will take a few years to pass since all 50 states and all of congress have to vote a change.
What change you say? The big sales tax change needed when we vote out the US Internal Revenue service!
There won't be time for Paul or Huckabee in their eight years to make the change and implement a 30% sales tax plus local taxes. (pre-prebate, a little less)
However if they start now it might get done in time for Chelsea Clinton to Veto it.
I'm not sure what my monthly prebate check from Washington will be but I do know they will attempt to print or transfer to our accounts about 115,000,000 of them, one for each family. That is about one billion, four hundred million checks per years paid as prebate.
My best guess is about $500 per month to me and everyone, including Bill Gates, and the last CEO to get fired from the stock exchange!
If mine gets to me on the first day of the month, I probably will eat rail gude that week, and drink a lot of beer and whiskey. The trouble comes about the 10th day when I am broke and can't afford the 30% tax for the rest of the month!
Maybe if they paid once per week it would go better! That's only about nine billion checks!
I know the Georgia factories used to pay the help daily in cash as they left the gate, but that would be asking right much nowadays.
I sure want to be in business when it occurs. I could figure out a lot of ways to keep part of an additional 30% tax and not send it to Washington, just as it is done now on the 7-13% most states and feds now charge at retail.
A fellow would get turned in for swapping knives in front of the post office under that program if one knife was worth more than the other one!
Guys selling off the back of trucks and out of the trunks of cars would be felonious criminals in a week or so!
Better get started, lot of problems to work out!
I still like the three phase IRS: 0 taxes up to 25,000 dollars; 15% taxes 25-100,000; 25% over 100,000 dollars.
No deductions, and same for corporations.
Might need to tweek those numbers some after a year or so!
