West Village no more.

Peachtree City’s fifth village has a new name — Wilksmoor.

The name was selected by a citizen-led committee and ratified last week by the City Council. According to the city, the significance of the name has to do with the existing Wilksgrove Baptist Church and the Scottish term “Moor” which means open land, peaty soil with heather and bracken.

Merry Christmas from Arizona where my Hoosiers are playing Oklahoma State in a few days.

Maybe PTC should have renamed the West Village "Brigadoon". You may remember that Brigadoon was a mythical scottish village that vanished in the mist each night to protect itself from the big, bad, outside world. It seems to fit the mindset occasionally displayed on this website.
