Ramsey Visible, Others Absent

An election is a decision making process, by which voters choose the best candidate they believe will represent them.

Since the announcement of the Special Election, only Matt Ramsey has worked to understand the needs of the voters. Matt Ramsey has met with multiple civic organizations, church leaders, and current and past elected officials. Matt has openly shared his campaign contributors (as required) and is not ashamed of the people that support him. Matt has gone door to door to ask for your vote. Matt has met with The Citizen to share his vision.

What have the other candidates done? The other candidates have either been absent or have hidden behind the mask of anonymity. With the exception of a few road signs by the candidate that changes their party affiliation for an election, or the democrat (redundant), or even worse, the candidate that campaigns (hides) behind a few uninformed bloggers that forgot that the people spoke last year(70% to 30%) that they do not want him to speak for them, Matt Ramsey is the only candidate that has connected with the people, the voters.
Ask yourself this: If a candidate other than Matt Ramsey wins, will they fail to show at the Capitol just as they have failed to actively campaign for your vote. Get out and Vote. I have.

VOTE MATT RAMSEY TODAY!

You know if you go to the letters to the editor section, you'll see all the candidates giving opinions on various issues. To say Matt Ramsey is the only person putting himself out there is an outright lie which is so far out of reality no one believes it. Ramsey probably said less than any of them.

I agree about the signs on government property and empty homes for sale. Not really a show of strength.

When I look in the newspaper and talk to people in Fayette County, the people who usually needed help on things got help from Steve Brown. Sure, Matt Ramsey's done a lot of babbling, but there's very little to show for it.

I voted for Harold Logsdon at the request of Bob Lenox and company last time. I admitted I was wrong.

Look at what we got with Lenox and his mayor: TDK, cost of Police Station on dump, big boxes thrown at us from every direction, HIGHER taxes and no respect for the citizens.

Now Lenox and the boys are telling us Matt Ramsey is choice, BUT FOR WHO?

Vote Republican

Let's see... Ramsey spent lots and lots of money on signs that he has placed on the vacant lots that the developers plan to sell or develop. There's difference #1.

Difference #2 is that Steve Brown has taken $0.00 dollars from anyone. Lawyer Ramsey has dollar bills in the tens of thousands of dollars flying at him from many different developer sugar daddys. Just go look at his disclosure forms.

Difference #3 Steve Brown is beholden to nobody and has a proven track record of controlling growth and attempting to reign in the waste of tax dollars. Not to mention the fact that every good old boy in PTC and surrounding parts wants a piece of his $$$. And it ain't because he's pretty. Eye-wink

people spoke last year(70% to 30%) that they do not want him (Steve Brown) to speak for them

That was then. This is now. As evidenced by the recent elections in Peachtree City, the voters are yearning for a do-over in regards to Logsdon vs. Brown. The voters of PTC have proved they recognize the folly of falling for the DPAC - Trash Brown lies of the last election.

Matt Ramsey is the only candidate that has connected with the....

I will give him this... He's definitely 'connected' to some shady characters and to the development crowd. Shocked

Capital as in capital letter? Or Capitol as in government seat? Puzzled

Another plum dumb statement. Like Steve Brown isn't going to show up at the capital. (eyes rolling) Glad to know signs and money are what 'actively campaigning' is all about.

Screw the issues, huh? Puzzled As long as you have a perty candiate to prop up and to go-along-and-git-a-long, that's all that matters. Empty suits is what you offer up. Shocked

Do Matt Ramsey's handlers realize what a catastrophic thing this is for their boy? As soon as my wife and I saw these it made us think of high density DEVELOPERS. This reminds me of Ann Coulter's comment last week hoping that the national Democrats would take their cue on illegal immigration policy from the NYT (e.g., the NYT thinks fighting illegal immigration is a loser for candidates, when in fact it goes over very well with the electorate). Ramsey apparently has no idea how his campaign signs on vacant parcels scare people (can't you just SEE the new apartments when you pass these lots?).

Ramsey has already handed Steve Brown this election. A new era of preserving instead of paving is coming.
