Ramsey is man of faith, family man who will be on side of working people

During my 50 years in the aviation industry, I have had the opportunity to work with many elected officials at the local, state and federal levels. I’ve observed many politicians that simply did not do it for the right reasons.

In fact, many Americans have become completely apathetic to the political process because of their disenchantment with our elected leaders.

Let me be the first to tell you, Matt Ramsey is not your typical candidate. He is running for the right reasons and, if elected, I believe that he would be different than what most Americans have come to expect from their elected officials.

Matt is not running for the sake of fame or fortune. He is running because he wants to serve Georgia, and because he loves Fayette County.

The Matt Ramsey I know is a man of principle who embodies the core values of our community. He is a family man and a man of faith. His years of service as a staffer in the General Assembly and for Mac Collins in Congress were marked by hard work and dedication to conservative principles.

Matt’s entire career, much of which was spent in public service, has in fact been preparation for leadership.

As we approach a legislative session sure to address several issues of critical importance to Fayette County, we need someone like Matt Ramsey to represent our interests.

Working people, who watch the government take too much of their income only to spend it irresponsibly, will know whose side Matt is on. Matt is on the side of the working people, just like I always tried to be on the side of working people when I worked at Delta, Continental, Air Canada and World Airways.

Matt supports a host of sensible policies that I believe will improve our state, but I believe that people can expect a lot more than sensible policies from Matt Ramsey.

Having been born and raised in Fayette County, he has a lifelong appreciation for the qualities that make it special, and he will fight to preserve the character of our community.

Matt knows that while there is a lot broken in the legislature that needs to be fixed, there is also a lot here at home that is just fine the way it is.

Matt is the logical choice for conservative voters, but I would submit that any citizen of our community that values honest, straightforward leadership should take a close look at him.

If you are looking for something different than your typical candidate, I think you’ll like what you find.

Mr. Harris also had to admit last weekend Matt Ramsey was working for Coweta Sen. Mitch Seabaugh at the very time TDK was being forced on us. So what are supposed to think when months after the project was stopped he says he was against it the whole time?

I've done business with World Airways and Hollis kept telling us the same great things about Harold Logsdon. He was a man of character, a leader and he would put the city's house back in financial order.

It should be no surprise whatsoever that you now see Ramsey signs in the same yards which once sported Logsdon signs. Despite the fact that some of those people have distanced themselves from Logsdon, you should be more than wary when you see former Logsdon supporters now aligning themselves with Ramsey.
