Wallace-Judy

Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Wallace of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Diane, to Daniel Eugene Judy, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Judy of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Thornton, Sr. of Athens, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald A. Wallace Sr. of Atlanta. She is a 2003 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2007 graduate of The University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor of science degree in child and family development/early childhood education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Judy of Orange Beach, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gene Sledge of Hiawassee. He is a 2003 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia State University where he earned a bachelor of arts and sciences degree with a specialization in history. He is currently employed by ServPro of Phenix City, Ala.

The wedding will be Jan. 12, 2008, at New Hope Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Columbus, Ga.

We had a wonderful Christmas with my parents. We have to take the oldest to Emory today concerning his back. Kind of like a second opinion.

downtown with the traffic & rain - you know the REAL crazies come out to drive when it rains!

Hope the oldest gets a good report from the doctor. He's in my prayers.
