Banning Baggy Britches,

eodnnaenaj1's picture

I see the Atlanta School Board has decided to ban this goofey way of dressing. Did anyone else see and hear and catch this phrase when news was questionsing a student about his thoughts; this young fellow said it was unfair or something, because - "we buy 'em big so we can grow into them". Huh? Let's see, these tall, slender teenage boys would have to grow at what percentage rate to ever "grow into" these britches.

That sounds kinda like my story, I'm not tall enough for my weight!

Bless their little hearts. I just shake my head . . . kids, what ya gonna do with them? Sure am glad none of my generation ever did goofey things like this.

For my weight. The older you get the harder it gets to lose weight! For years I stayed the same weight. About 5 years ago the pounds piled on and I can't seem to lose them! Sad

As for the baggy britches, I think school uniforms might solve that in the schools. It's like the lady on the news said, "they need to be holding a book, not their pants." Smiling

Tall enough for my own weight? Don't even go there with me. I looked at that "darn" chart. I should be about 20 feet tall!!!!
