CONGRATULATION TO DOUG STURBAUM

My congratulations go out to Doug for a well run and upfront campaign. I truly believe that Peachtree City will be a better place now that he is a part of our new City Council.
To each of the other six candidates that were in competition for the two seats, I say thank you all for the willingness to serve our community. Perhaps we have set a benchmark for running our campaigns in a dignified and professional manner--I certainly hope so.
Good luck Doug and to Don Haddix as you now represent us. I know that together you will make us proud.

Hey Mike, even though you didn't win, I sure appreciate your firm stands on protecting Peachtree City from overdevelopment.

Please keep up the good fight and run again next time.

Mike,

Thank you for the kind words of encouragement. You ran a great campaign and thank you for your open, upfront position on the issues.

You are a good man and a most honorable citizen. It is of benefit for PTC to have you and your family living here in PTC over the years. Your leadership and stewardship are much appreciated.

I look forward to your continued community support in the future. We were able to show our citizens that politics can be good for all parties and at the same time keep a clean campaign based on public issues.

I also want to thank the other six candidates who volunteered their time and talents to run for the two positions. Each of the candidates brought ideas and opportunities to the table for PTC.

And as always, thank you to the citizens who came out today and voted for either Mike or myself. We appreciate your support. Please remember to vote on December 18th!

You and all of the other candidates did set a precedent for running a clean campaign. Thanks for raising the bar in PTC.

Thank you for being an honorable candidate during this election season. Don't go too far away, PTC may need you two years from now for one of the posts open at that time.
