Our Lady of Mercy's prime-time dancer

There have been many great dancers in the history of music — Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, James Brown, Usher and Justin Timberlake, among others. It’s time to add another name to the list of distinguished dancers, Our Lady of Mercy principal Danny Dorsel.

Last year, in his first year as principal at Our Lady of Mercy, Dorsel issued a challenge. He said that if Mercy reached an enrollment of 220 students for the 2007-2008 school year, he would show off his vast dancing skills by stepping with the school’s step team. Mercy has reached an enrollment of 221 for the year, a 10 percent increase in enrollment over last year, thus Dorsel lived up to his challenge, taking the court with Mercy’s step team at halftime of the Bobcats' 61-53 victory over Whitewater.

Way to go Mr. Dorsel, what a good sport!

Reminds me of one of Will Ferrel's skits!
