British Teacher in Sudan Sentenced to 15 Days in Jail

A Sudanese court has convicted a British teacher of inciting religious hatred in Sudan by letting her class of seven-year-olds name a teddy bear Muhammad.

So let me get this straight. This teacher allows her very young students to name a stuff animal "Muhammad". Then all the "locals" get their p%$#ys in a wad and now it's disgrace to their religion.

Yet nations of that same religion cite the need incite religious hatred and kill all infidels.

Religion of peace my rump. Whatever happened to the British Army and Navy that would soar-in to the rescue of it's distressed citizens? The top male name given to newborn males in the United Kingdom today is Mohammed. How much longer before these Islamo Fascists start rioting in London like this? Look at France...... Now tell me again why we shouldn't ban certain peoples' from the United States? Although I fear it is too late for us to take action now. The enemy is already among us.

I do have great idea as to how to deal with a violent mob of Muslim Islamo Facists. Just like spraying for mosquitoes, we outfit Warthogs with spray gear designed to disperse pig's blood and grease while.... you git the picture. Smiling

how some Muslim groups are distancing themselves from this. Some are saying it casted a "bad" light on them. Well duh!!!! When I looked at a few middle east news services last night there was much "down-toning" like saying the crowds were only in the "hundreds" or it just a few "hot heads" and alike.

HotAir has more on this. It looks like the teacher is going to get some type of severe punishment possibly even 40 lashes. Well, all I can say is I'm glad hate crimes are taken seriously in Sudan! We have a lot we can learn from their fair and balanced judicial system.

If you'd read a legitimate news source (as opposed to Michelle Malkin's vanity site) you'd have known that this woman got sentenced to 15 days in jail and a deportation order.

Meanwhile, here in the good ole United States of America, we have storm...err STATE troopers tasering motorists for not signing traffic tickets.

And I read last evening about police using a battering ram to knock down the door of a woman who refused to pay for her pizza delivery.

...and ah'm proud to be an American, whar at least ah know ah'm FREEEEE

"If you'd read a legitimate news source (as opposed to Michelle Malkin's vanity site)"

If you would be less "condescending, disruptive and abusive" (I just can't "ignore" your "toxic" comments Eye-wink ), you would acknowledge that PentaP was linking to a BLOG that was posted on the morning of 11/28 (a day before the news story cited by Cyclist), not a news site.

The BLOG contained links that anyone could read, if interested. PentaP's info may not have been the most current at the time of his post, but the Hot Air blog was accurate at the time that it was posted.

BTW, have you been successful in your efforts to "summon demons"? Puzzled Your "imagination" is right up there with $Dollar$ a.k.a. Bonker$ Laughing out loud

Perhaps he wrote it before the actual sentence was rendered.

Your subsequent comments about our police officers bears little if any resemblance to the harsh punishment dealt out under the ridiculous laws of Sharia. In the future try to write an intelligent blog.

Perhaps Pentapenguin did not know of the verdict, but almost 18 hours had passed since the verdict and his blog, which is an eternity by internet news standards.

As to your next comment, I can't speak for anyone but myself but I think if offered a choice I would take ten days in jail over being tasered before my wife and kids. That's just my opinion though, feel free to disagree.

I noticed yet another taser story in the news out of Troutville Ohio. A five month pregnant woman got irritated with the police when she tried to file a report. She turned to leave and the officer taking her report tasered her and her little womb resident.

In any event I think we can find some common ground in that we both seem to believe that religious extremists of any faith (Islam OR Christian) should not be able to use a pliant court system to enforce their extremist religious beliefs on people.

Finally, I'd caution you in the future to not write that something you happen to disagree with is not "intelligent". I've got every right to an opinion as you do. This is still the United States of America, pal.

If you're okay with killing a baby in the womb, then why would you be opposed to tazering it in the womb. Puzzled

BTW.... you didn't by chance leave out any details in the story did you? I'll check it out... as you put it, it does appear to be a despicable act. You know... tazering a mother and her unborn baby.

I suppose it's good to have you back Basmati. Evil

Yikes... I think the officer went a bit overboard wouldn't you say? She looked pretty subdue-able to me. Although I've never been tazered I have no idea what the effects may be. Other than in my younger days having electric cattle prod fights with my buddies or having one of them sneak up on my and zap my rump.

Someone with better knowledge and experience with tazers might want to chime in. Maybe Lockemup... Perhaps a little zap to keep someone from hurting themselves? Puzzled I'm not saying that but thinking out loud what the use of it might be.

Anyways... I carry one while running as I choose not to be entirely defenseless if I'm attacked by a dog or a predator.

Maybe Sniffles doesn't consider an unborn child anything other than a "womb resident". That way, his/her conscience doesn't bother him/her when it's aborted.

Welcome to the blogs.

Perhaps we are all a bit pre-mature since the crowds are asking for her head ... literally. It seems 15 days isn't going to satisfy the blood-thirsty.

Kill The Infidel

As for the 'tazer' comment by whinny, I guess if you can follow the directions of the police you won't have a problem.

What's a law officer got to do these days to get idiots to sensibly cooperate? Puzzled

I guess we could make it a requirement to read them their 'choices' first.

Ma'am... would you prefer the tazer, the pepper spray or the baton....

They apparently wouldn't let her leave when she didn't want to fill out papers! I agree about the disobeying reasonable orders, but they should have let her walk out!

I thought hospitals accepted children from people with no hassel as long as they handed them to a hospital employee---guess not police stations.

People who insult show lack of inteligence that have to insult to try and prove a point- use your words, didn't anyone tell you that. I asked him a question not you.

You won't get a response back from me, I don't respond to rude people.

1.) Learn to speak proper English
2.) Lose the 'Chip' that makes you think everyone is 'rude'
3.) Don't make empty threats: No one cares if you EVER comment on ANYTHING to ANYONE again
4.) Try putting a coherent thought together BEFORE you type.
5.) Don't respond to me, I assure you it will only evoke a more cruel slice of reality.

If I were the British govt, I would strongly urge all British citizens to leave the country of Sudan, and I would ensure that not 1 British Pound or a Pence was spent in aid to that country until their govt was completely reformed. As a matter of fact, I would be quite comfortable with OUR country ceasing aid to the Sudanese govt until fundamental changes were made. This woman committed her life to helping those in need only to be bitten by the govt she wished to help; ridiculous. I wonder how Muslim people are able to name their kids Muhammed without risl of lashing. I guess it's like naming your child "god".

That's what I expected would happen after their Friday prayers. If they're truly concerned about the "evil western" influences then, get rid of all western aid and technologies. Let them regress back to their original state - sticks and stones.

I seem to remember hearing at one time that Great Britain claimed they buried Islamic terrorists in pigskin bodybags as a deterant. I think I heard that having any contact with pigs disqualifies a Muslim from going to Paradise. Can anyone confirm that information?
