What happened last night?

Last night, the hubby and I were heading to Publix on the south end around 6:00. All of a sudden, police, fire, and rescue began swarming the Waffle House down there (across from Speedi Pig Barbecue). Then, (oh, some of you will LOVE this), HAWK ONE swooped in. It appeared they were looking for someone. I don't know if Waffle House got robbed, or what. Does anyone know what was going on?

Last night was the annual Citizen Christmas party. John Munford got a little rambunctuous at the after-party at the Waffle House. The patrons called the cops when he queued up "My Waffle House Special Lady" on the jukebox 16 straight times and insisted on singing along at the top of his lungs.

I heard that the police showed admirable restraint. They didn't Taze John (not that it matters...John Munford laughs in the face of danger).

It's on the Fayetteville police log listed as a disorderly conduct incident, not an armed robbery.

Will have more later today hopefully.

Long story short:

Drunk patron, behaving rudely to folks. Someone intervenes and asks him to leave, a fight ensues.

The intervening person gets minor injuries and the drunk patron runs off into the woods (thus the helicopter to look for him).

He's caught; charged with public drunk. (real story coming later, but this is the highlights).

Awful House Fight... Oh, That Was Nothing

It was just Dollar, Nitpickers, and DSmith meeting for dinner. Dollar got mouthy with Smith and sloshed hot coffee at him; missing him, and hitting Nitpickers square in the face with it. The rest is, well.......

All I can say is that it's a good thing Cy wasn't there. Smiling
