Douglas Francis Danforth

Douglas Francis Danforth, 37, Senoia, died Nov. 8, 2007. He was a combat veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 1st Calvary Division in Desert Storm. He worked as a radiology technologist at the Atlanta Medical Center. He was an avid golfer and a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Memorial services were at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Carl Doogan and Deacon Al McHugh officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Shawn Danforth, Senoia; a daughter, Caitlin Danforth, Senoia; parents, Bill "Linc" and Nancy Danforth, Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, Bill Danforth III, Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Shannon Danforth, Chicago; a niece, Taylor; a nephew, Will; parents-in-law, Douglas and Barbara Treadway, Fayetteville; and a brother-in-law, Doug Treadway, Inman, S.C. Memorial donations may be made to Nueroscience ICU 2D, 1364 Clifton Rd., Atlanta, GA 30322. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
