Buell R. Whitlock, Fayetteville, died Oct. 31, 2007. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian K. Whitlock, and a brother, Al Whitlock. Services were at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Wood and the Rev. Dan Houston officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte T. Whitlock, Fayetteville; children, Tracee Whitlock, Jeffery Buell Whitlock, and Tina Whitlock, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Aaron Whitlock, Brian Whitlock II, all of Fayetteville; mother-in-law, Margaret Tarpley, Jonesboro; a sister-in-law, Faye Whitlock, Birmingham, Ala.; a brother, H. M. and Denise Tarpley, Cape Sandblast, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Amy Phifer, and Ken Whitlock, both of Birmingham, and Jessica Tarpley, Hal Tarpley, and Brett Tarpley, off of Cape Sandblast. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
