Mr. Smola, I am so overwhelmed and pleased that you responded to one of my 8 questions. Have you suddenly had a change of heart here at election time? I really did not expect a response, since I wrote you 3 detailed letters this year about hardships created by Ordinance 454 which at the time you were on Council, but choose to ignore all my letters.

Let's see;
1.the guy that is gonna sue you for having the town draft a letter saying they didn't want him back at the ballfields. You did that before there was ever a trial.

2. Then there was Hank Zanek, you publicly ridiculed at town hall about his RV tag.

3. Tracy Young about his house being on less than an acre.

I would say you have never been bashful about trying to humiliate anyone!

After refusing for 10 months to answer my questions, you finally answered one question, albeit an avoidance answer. But that’s okay, it’s a good start after being on Council 5 years. It’s like a baseball player who goes 0-5, then gets on base on an error. It doesn’t help his batting average, but everyone’s pleased. Now if you’re elected Mayor, the citizens want you, to build on that answer. I’m going to make it easy for you, a couple of big fat batting practice pitches right down the middle. Do you know if Barry Amos was ever assigned duties by the Council as required by law? Is one of his assigned duties, the right to fire employees without Council’s approval? Remember, winners never quit and quitters never win!

I have a couple questions. I do not know the whole story of your plight.
1. Could you have upgraded your property to approaved zoning?
Upgrading = more renter's money and more choices in space
usage. (Just my thoughts)
2. Were you paid fair market value for the property?
The buildings on Tyrone Paletto Road were run down and needed major feature improvements. Could you have done this to update and improve upon the look of the town?
I am not trying to make you mad I am just asking you questions and giving you my opinion.
I have riden up and down Tyrone Palmetto Road since I was boy going to see my grandmother. The last time I saw those buildings they looked run down and looked neglected.

Aren't you suppose to be out there treat-o-tricking with the rest of the kids?
Look, dudleydo, Mr. Shelly’s buildings are not run down. It’s well keep better than any other building around downtown that are in the same uses. Go check it.

But how about other building in mid-town Tyrone? How about the Bennett’s Antique building, and the others behind it. It’s pretty bad. How about the Glass company, the metal building at the corner of Castlewood across the school, the vacant 2 story house near the city hall, the metal building next to the new library , the storage building where the guy were shooting cats. Is Barry and Amos are going to bulldoze all these building too? Oh how about your grandma’s house off Palmetto Road the one with a purple hat mailbox. .And the rest that Barry & Smola don’t like.

I seemed to have ticked people off and they freak out. I have asked questions to people around town but everyone has stories and the are pretty wild and grew. It as almost like the game you played as a kid where you sit in circle and whisper something to someone and see how it matches what was really said. There are so many people slamming Amos I am not sure if he is satan or an ordained king because of all the amazing amount of destruction that these folks claim he has done. You ask a question and you are attacked for your looks. Some of the responses to things I have said or asked had made me afraid some one was going to stroke out. Is this normal for the bloggers in Tyrone. Is this a normal reponse? Can you offer some of them a good doc I think they need one.
