Fayette County Blue Devil Cheerleaders

Where is the news about the Cheerleader Competition on Sunday at Whitewater High School? FBD did not win, but the girls really worked hard for this. It would be great to see thier teams and/or names in the news. I think it would be worth while because the parking lot at WHS was FULL.

Please think about the children, I remember seeing my name on occasion in ther paper and I loved it.

The best way to get a photo or blurb in the newspaper about a particular sport is to e-mail it in to sports@thecitizen.com.

This applies to any sport, including cheerleading.

Please make sure that you send in a high-resolution photo and identify everyone in the photo if you can so we can run their names along with it. Also please remember we're a local paper and thus we're most interested in info and pictures from local folks in the Fayette/Coweta/South Fulton area.

We sometimes get a backlog and can't run everything right away, but chances are it will get published shortly after you submit it.

So many people have digital cameras these days that it's a pretty easy process. You don't even have to bother mailing or dropping off a printed photo. Just zap it in via e-mail.

Thanks for the advice. I do not have any really good pictures but anyone that does, please send them. It would be greatly appreciated. Peachtree City Packers took home the gold but Fayette County Blue Devils was either second (wee team) and third (Div 1 and Div 2). Way to go girls. We love each and every one of you. YOU ROCK THE HOUSE.
