Drought

Should we wait until we move the pipes and pumps at Lake Lanier into the "sludge" areas and start pumping out the heavy metals and diseases and mosquitoes, or should we now be planning and implementing immediately ways to get more water here now? The liklihood of that swamp water being treated well enough to drink is questionable.
Start the trucks now from areas that have water. Dig numerous wells, now, and pipe them to reservoirs, now.
Ration water now.
Don't wait until everything is shut down and people have lost all of their jobs and businesses, do it NOW!
Borrow the money just as Washington does, and promise not to have to do that again.
Start charging twice as much for water used over one-half of past years experience. Charge three times as much for water used that equals last year's usage.
It is NOT going to rsin enough over the next four months to prevent outage--the odds are about 50 to 1.
Forget not geting elected next time---do what needs done.

I never intended to post twice. There is something wrong at the Citizen computer when it doesn't indicate that it accepted a comment!
Have you no opinion on any water action for now?

Beer comes from Cartersville and is 99% water!

Anyway you tried as best you knew how!

I drink Foster's, I'm pretty sure it's not made in Cartersville, and to further help out when I have to go, I have a tree I call the dollar tree that I personally water in your memory everyday.

ahhhhh, miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles! Used to have family who lived in OK, town that was a wide spot in the road, drove out there a couple of times. . . Question for you, what are those folks "fencing in"??? Seems to me there is nothing or no one around, why the fence?

The town was so small, with nothing to do, that I decided if I were told I had 30 days to live, I'd move out there, because everyday seemed like an eternity!

Although, I am beginning to see the wisdom and values of living in a place like that.

It has rained a bit, not a lot, just enough to make folks crazy and have wrecks during rush hour.

Whatcha doing way out there? Have a good one.

Perhaps they're trying to stop the "blue northens" with the fences. As for what I'm doing out here, it's the job.
