We all heard the same story that Jane heard; it was something that happened outside of the school and not during school hours. There were not any guns at the school at any time. Like Jane....I wonder why isn't this in the newspaper?

One thing we know for sure, his SAT scores will be lower than the avg @ McHS. Though according to previous post he will be in good company, just not as smart.

Since your name is "wildcat" and you said "we" I'm taking a guess you work at WHS? First, I'm glad no one,yet has been hurt. But this is scary. When I read the original blog I made some calls. I just talked to someone who said a boy from Whitewater was arrested this week and that he had made threats to kill students and that wherever he was arrested that he did have a gun. Is this part true? And the boy who was arrested over a year ago for having all sort of weapons was also from Whitewater. Again what's going on down there on the southside and why aren't we being told?

I agree with Tug13,why haven't we heard about this? If this is true how can something like this be swept under the rug? Did this happen at school and when did this happen? And eodennaenaj says "the young gentleman has been dealt with though." This makes me feel alot better. Isn't Whitewater High where a boy was arrested just over a year ago for carrying all kinds of weapons? What's happening at this school and in Fayette County?

Sometimes one must be careful how they tell a story . . .and sometimes things are kept hush hush, for whatever reason . . .

Basically, I'm not sure that any or much of this took place at the school, maybe the talking was done at school. However, this young fella was running his mouth, his home was visited, there was a gun, and he was arrested. I don't believe the gun ever actually went to the school, but the threat(s) were made. Thats really all I know about the situation.

Perhaps it was kept hush hush because technically, nothing really happened, or happened at school. On the other hand, would be nice to know so you could give your "someone I love dearly" a heads-up.

I don't believe something involving a gun and threats, should ever be kept hush, hush. Do you?

Seems like I do a lot more praying for my grand-children when they go to school, than I did my children. When my children were in school something like this was unheard of.
