The clearing of trees has already begun around the dam at Huddleston Pond, as root intrusion was part of the problem that damaged the spillway and ultimately forced the city to lower the pond’s level dramatically over the summer. The project is anticipated to be complete by the first of the year, and it is being funded by the city’s stormwater program. login to post comments |
