The Whitewater Wildcats capitalized on a blocked punt early in their game against McIntosh and never looked back.

Whitewater defeated McIntosh 27-0 and got touchdown runs from Austin Faulkner, Thomas Frierson and David Byrd. Faulkner’s touchdown was a one yard run in the first quarter, Frierson scored on a two yard run in the second quarter and a 55 yard run in the third quarter and Byrd scored on a 35 yard keeper just over two minutes later.

Though McIntosh moved the ball well and controlled the clock at times, they were shut out for the third straight week.

Leading the defense for the Wildcats were Zac Mann with 23 total tackles, Ryan Hidalgo with 16 total tackles, Justin Forrester with 15 total tackles and C.J. Williams with 12 total tackles.

"Kyle Bowman did an excellent job for us, too," said head coach Amos McCreary. "He doesn't get a lot of recognition for what he does on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, but he has been steady for us all year."

You just wait until soccer season. OR when the countywide SAT scores are published.

Better watch how loud you brag Bladderq. The kids from the McIntosh school district also lead the way in the number of kids involved with the Juvenile Justice System.
