It depends on what everyone is talking about. Certain people who don't agree with you seem to take the joy of getting together to agree with what you may disagree on. It seems to be there way or no way.

No fight here

You call this fighting? We are all buddies -- except when some newcomer tries to pick on us, and other newcomers think it's a fight.

I am moving in the area in about 5 months, any suggestions between Fayetteville, Tyrone or PTC. I have 2 kids, married and we live a low key life. What are differences between the 3 of them.

My take on the three areas - and I've only lived here a few years....

PTC - A Homeowners Association City. If you like having rules and regulations and consistency and golf cart paths, this is the place to be. It's a nice, tailored city.

Tyrone - Seems to be in a developmental and political uproar right now, but I'm sure it will get better. Nice small town feel, far apart subdivisions/homes, kind of a country-town.

Fayetteville - A cross between the two. A slower, quieter lifestyle - excepting the Pavilion, of course! Hopefully the downtown area will DO something someday. It's a very nice downtown with the oldest courthouse in Georgia.

I know that schools and property taxes and all that delightful stuff is important, too. Someone will have more details and insight to share I'm sure!

Thanks for the information, it seems from what you described that maybe Fayetteville fits my family, maybe Tyrone. I guess we will have to do more research on the areas. Thanks again.

You see what time I get here, so 4 - 4:30, I'm gone, you are right. And if I'm real good I get to leave on Fridays. Guess this particular salt mine does have some perks. Already have an email from bossman - can you believe it!?!
