It could be that there are no pedestrians in that area because there are no crosswalks and a person would be crazy to try to cross the street. On the other hand, I can't see anyone walking from Crystal to Waffle House, can you?

Glad to know you are rolling again. I don't know what sort of commute you have, you could actually "ride in"?

One of the few things I dislike about my job is the drive downtown every day! Been doing it for many years, and I still dread it, don't know that I'll ever like it. Know anyone south of I-285 that needs a top-notch assistant!!? Ya know Git just ain't paying me enough.

My commute is to the Atlanta Aerodrome (ATL). I did the bicycle thing for awhile until I gave birth to my son colon. Things are a little complicated with the new runway as some minor roads were changed or eliminated. But I have a few options that I'm exploring.

Git was very quite this weekend so who knows how the week may be.

i completely agree, these people holding signs are a trashy addition to Fayetteville. I remember when the hifi buys was closing down, it looked like they bused in homeless people to hold them. JEEZ! I foolishly hoped that that would be enough for the council to do something about it, but apparently, its ok to have bums holding signs in our "could be great if the council really cared" city.

The DOT installing sidewalks there is ridiculous. As I understand it, they use general mathematical formulas and blanket polices to design our road system, WHAT A WASTE! It would be a positive change if each county had an official that was relied upon by the DOT for input for their projects.

I think he is asking about the orange barrels and mess in front of IHOP. It looks like they are putting in a sidewalk, but that is just a guess. It might be a second turn lane, although it doesn't seem wide enough or long enough for that.
