I have to admit the term hypocrite comes to mind here Gary, but that's fine. The whole idea here is to be able to voice your opinion and I knew I would get under the skin of the 30% that went for Brown for criticizing his blaming his election loss on the naming of the Christmas Tree.

And you are right that Brown got 19% of the original vote on election day and I got only 11%, so he spanked me pretty good. But we and four others were still way behind the eventual winner, Mr. Logsdon.
I just didn't want to regret not running 20 years from now, and I'm glad I at least gave it a shot.

In any case, that is old news, and so am I. Not to worry, I have had my fill of politics and don't plan to seek elected office again. It was fun to serve on council and run for mayor, but I have many other irons in the fire to keep me quite busy.

I think Harold will be a good mayor who will make us proud, and I wish him the very best.
