Undercover drug agents arrested three men Monday for trying to buy 36 pounds of marijuana at a local gas station, police said.

The marijuana was offered for sale by an undercover agent of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department’s Drug Task Force.

Arrested and charged with criminal attempt to traffick in marijuana were Shadarrian A. McDowell, 32, of Lithonia; Chester Thomas, 32, of Atlanta and Samuel Render, 32, also of Atlanta.

In addition to confiscating more than $35,000 agents also confiscated a handgun McDowell had at the time of the incident; McDowell was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Let me see if I have this right. These dudes were going to buy 36lb for $35,000= $972lb / 16oz= $60 an oz. Mark it too much to say $120oz. or a "lid" for say $90. DANG, I'm back the the Allman Bros playing in Piedmont Park. Wait, they just did.

I thought all this Miami Vice drug task force, Coast Guard interdiction, find the grow houses, sniff a dog around the truck stops was gonna make it more expensive.

Looks like ya'll caught the dumbest or the best bargain hunters on the street.

OUR NATIONAL / LOCAL DRUG POLICY DOESN"T WORK
