transportation

I really do not know how Fayette County can stay with the mentality that we aren't affected by ATL traffic. That's BULL, I travel into ATL five days a week and there is not one road out of this county that isn't congested from six am throught 9 am and then it repeated agin in the afternoon from 4-6 pm. There isn't just one van carrying people to and from ATL there is at least 5 or 6 and that's just the ones I see parked at different places around the county. A lot of people are like me and work flex hours so they cannot get into a van pool and take advantage of not having to drive every day. If even one out of a hundred people see the article and respond I beleive this county will be amazed at the large number of county citzens that travel every day into and through ATL.

Compared to the north side, it's not all that bad.
I use to live in Roswell and traffic is a nightmare especially 400 , 285 and the downtown connector. I work in the city of fayetteville and grew-up watching the area and traffic change over time, but it has been a slow process and a not thrown into our laps as the north side has worked it's mess into what you see on TV.
Now as more homes are built and if more BIG business move in and around our area we will feel more of what the North has. Enjoy what we have right now and if you are looking for a short cut let me know.
