I agree, trees would be better. That being said, were you against the widening of 74 in this area? It's been on the books forever, it's crucial to the further development of the Industrial side of PTC. I do think they are planning on planting trees between the wall and the road, so time will tell.

It will be quieter in those neighborhoods after the wall is up. I lived in Morrow when they built I-75, and the sound walls added later made the neighborhoods much quieter. I can hear 74 from my neighborhood now (Spyglass) and I think it will be quieter.

Oh no, I am a supporter of the widening. I wish it could have happened sooner. And I'm sure the wall is the best solution but it does sadden me when the trees disappear. I hope they do plant more trees along the wall.

I agree with you, the wall is so very nice. Isn't is so sad every time one drives down the road, more trees have been leveled and something is being built . . .so sad

No I'm not a graduate of tech and only a casual fan. The nickname is a play on the Nautical flag Yellow Jack. It is used to warn other ships away because of disease onboard. Don't know what that says about me and my personality (I don't even own a boat), go figure.
