CNN ran the complete story this morning. . .showing the disgust that law enforcement has for this event - and their concern for the victim. This is important for all to see that this is not acceptable - regardless of 'color'. I'm told that main media types have to get 'approval' for how they will 'handle' a story. I'm glad to see that they agree with the majority of Americans at the horror of this act. CNN is also reporting on the Jena 6 situation. Petitions abound asking for the federal government to look into this case. This should not be considered the 'race card' - but the 'human' card. When we learn to treat others are we would want to be treated, the 'race card' will go away. (Hopefully)

They don't deserve to live amongst us and should be caged like animals.

Most of these slugs start out by torturing animals.

I still think if you torture someone it should be a captial crime, even if the victim survives.

This woman will live with this forever.

I get most of my news online, and I hadn't seen this yet, either. I'm usually proud to say I'm from West Virginia, but this story just makes me sick. We WVirginians know that it may not be safe for "outsiders" (i.e., anyone not born in that area) in some areas, especially up in the remote "hollers" (rural roads that run up into the mountains, away from the flatter land). Heck, I was born there, and I get antsy whenever I have to detour into a remote area. But there is NO excuse for this behavior -- none. It is this type of evilness that must be destroyed, removed from our society. Just like what they did to Nazis who single-handedly sent innocent women, children, old people, gays, gypsies, and the infirm to the gas chambers or just casually shot them as they separated them. No mercy, just send them on to their maker to be judged.

I could not believe that the wife and mother of these beasts also participated, along with her daughter? Good lord, where is the empathy, the humanity of these people? This is a stain on all of humanity that must be purged from this earth.

That would be a very accurate statement. Very sad and disgusting!
