5 golf cart thefts reported in PTCTue, 09/11/2007 - 3:39pm

Peachtree City police are looking into five golf cart thefts that happened in five days from various places in Peachtree City. Three of the thefts occurred Saturday and in each case the golf cart was later recovered in a different area than which it had been taken from, police said. Among the thefts: A green Club Car was stolen from Chattan Trail and found near the Glenloch recreation area Tuesday, Sept. 4. Its registration number is 06326; A white Club Car was stolen from the amphitheater and found on the cart path behind Kedron Fieldhouse Friday, Sept. 7. Its registration number is 06669; A blue EZ-GO was stolen from the Peachtree Crossings shopping center and found behind The Avenue shopping center Saturday, Sept. 8. Its registration number is 06099; A green EZ-GO was stolen from a residence on Belvedere Lane and found on the cart path near Flat Creek Road and Riley Parkway Saturday, Sept. 8. Its registration number is 5257; A black Club Car was stolen from The Avenue and recovered near the Glenloch recreation area. Its registration number is 00410.
