Can Kroger's Goodwill

Kroger is sub-leasing their space to Goodwill to keep competition out of that storefront. Peachtree City didn't do it. Shopping Center owner didn't do it. Kroger did this to PTC!
Contacting competition like Trader Joes or Whole Foods won't do any good. Kroger has a lease and they would never sub-lease to any competition for their other stores.
You can contact Kroger's Atlanta Area Real Estate Division 770-496-7400. This is a done deal, finalized already.

Leave a cart full of cans in the Kroger aisle with a note: Kroger you are canned!!! Thanks for the Goodwill but now I shop at ________ (fill in the blank.)
That might send corporate a meaningful message if it happened alot at various Kroger stores in the county.

Kroger bought Harris T's business in GA & they got this lease. Unfortunately for us, it doesn't meet a Kroger standard. You know, like they can't sell gas in the parking lot. It's not, you know, like really big.
In a "republican" "free market" economy, you can take over the lease and find a suitable renter.
I bet Kroger would sell the rights to the lease, just to get rid of it. I doubt Kroger spends too many sleepless night worrying about TJ' or Whole Foods in such a small spot.

Owner would let Kroger out of the lease if that would keep out Goodwill. Goodwill Store will ruin that location. No other tenent will renew their lease after Goodwill moves in. Kroger does not want out of the lease. They want to control what is in that space. Whole Foods, Trader Joes, other niche grocers have looked for suitable locations in our area and Kroger is doing everything they can to keep them out.

This is the same tactic used by Walmart all over this county. Empty Big Boxes. These corporations want to control the competition and locations.

I guess one mans idea of a suitable tenent might not be the same as the next guy.

Kroger doesn't care about this community and we need Kroger to realize we can eat without them
