Peachtree City police are looking for the driver of a red sport motorcycle who is believed to have robbed the Tires Plus store, holding an employee at gunpoint early Monday evening. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s between 5’8” and 5’10” tall, 180 pounds wearing a white T-shirt and either dark shorts or pants, police said. He may have left the area on the red sport motorcycle, police said. When the suspect entered the store just after 6 p.m. Monday, he demanded money from an employee, removed a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the employee, police said. The suspect fled the store on foot and ran toward the Camden apartment complex, police said. A reward is being offered for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman, police said. Police were assisted by a K-9 unit from the Fayette County Sheriff's Department and by a helicopter unit from the Georgia State Patrol, police said. login to post comments |
