You just gotta love 'em, don't you?
What do you guys think?
(the sound you hear is that of a can-of-worms being opened)

Especially if you've ever had a friend or family member get help in one of their hospitals.

My Dad was a Shriner, so I grew up going to a lot of their parades. I ALWAYS give to them when I see them at traffic intersections because I know the good they do with the donations, plus I always tell them to be careful!

We still have my Dad's Fez, the Shriner's maroon hat with the tassel. Those things are so hot, really - they don't breathe at all, but they are so very distinct and eye-catching.

How tragic one of their little cars hit a parade-goer, that is the last thing any of them could imagine happening. I hope all involved will be alright.
