He didn’t stop there, though. The message cut off before his inner Tony Soprano could kick in:

“Hello, this is Doug Lamborn again, I’m finishing up my message from a moment ago. I got cut off. It is critical that you get back to me as soon as possible on this because I’ll be going back to Washington here in a few days and I have to make sure that this is resolved one way or another. And like I said I’d rather resolve this on a Scriptural level but if you are unwilling to do that I will be forced to take other steps, which I would rather not have to do.”

Chuckle... This kind of arrogance is quite typical of politicians on both sides.

Remember the last election cycle when Westmoreland's goon lawyers threatened to strongarm Cal Beverly and Company over a blog that I think Skyspy posted? Instead of being intimidated by Wastemoreland's hired thugs and silencing the blogger Cal took the threatening letter and posted it on the front page of the Citizen. I don't remember all the specifics, but what I do remember is that it made Lynn and his goons look like a bunch of rookie fools. You gotta hand it to ole Cal on that one. Talk about a big set of em'.

Honestly though, Doug Lamborn hasn't done anything that any other congressman hasn't done. They all take monies from whatever source they can. Look at Hillary.

Let's look again at our Christian so-called Conservative Congressman Lynn Westmoreland. Remember his liquor lobby contributions? How about our District Attorney Scooter Ballard? Taking contributions from the mother of a child molester that Scotty has fought for in many scary and questionable ways.

So Bad... If you're asking me this surprises me, I'd have to say no. I expect it from all of them.

As for me changing horses..... I didn't change horses. I'm frustratingly still on foot. Sad

Hey Bad.

Craig gets thrown out because of gay pervert sex he didn't even have. Now Vitter, on the other hand, is still in office after actually confessing to "hooker sex".

What's the difference you ask? Let me help you with that. In Idaho Craig will more than likely be replaced by a Republican.

In Louisiana, where Witter is from, the Democrat nut-case Governor Blanco would assuredly replace him with a Democrat. This would virtually wipe out the razor thin veto margin that the Republicans enjoy.

Now the head of the Republican Party Mike Gillespie is working on an ethics reform package for the GOP to self govern themselves. I suppose the "ethics" argument will be trumped by the desire to maintain power. But, that's typical of Washington.

Geez... The only think I despise more than the Republicans these days are the Chi-Coms, Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Democrats and TheOnlyRealRacistManHatingRat. Oh... I forgot to mention Hollywood. Eye-wink

He was a leader in the Clinton impeachment
He voted against and campaigned hard against equal rights for all American's.

He is in businesses pocket, taking in more than $1.3 million from Boise Cascade and $1.1 million from oil and energy since 1989.

This is like the 16th Republican to be outed, so let's NOT concede that both parties are morally corrupt. There is only 1 party that since 1994 has been pro business and anti people and has gotten us into an endless war while shuffling the bogeymen out of the closet, to keep America convinced only his kind can keep us safe.

Clip from story on Republican Senator LArry Craig of Idaho:

"Roll Call, citing the report, said Sgt. Dave Karsnia made the arrest after an encounter in which he was seated in a stall next to a stall occupied by Craig. Karsnia described Craig tapping his foot, which Karsnia said he "recognized as a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct."

Roll Call quoted the Aug. 8 police report as saying that Craig had handed the arresting officer a business card that identified him as a member of the Senate.

"What do you think about that?" Craig is alleged to have said, according to the report.

Last fall, Craig called allegations from a gay-rights activist that he's had homosexual relationships "completely ridiculous."

This is what happens when we throw rocks in glass houses. You villify gays and your daughter marries her girlfriend and adopts a child with her. You villify immigrants and we find out your Guatemalan maid is illegal and you don't pay taxes. We legislate marraige and it's found out we visit prostitutes. We throw stones at adulterers (like Bill Clinton) and it's found out we too are adulterers. This is a WAKE UP call that God is not a Republican. Jesus is not a Democrat. And I do believe God and Jesus may be tired of politicians speeking for them. Would prayer in school have helped this man? Would adult abstinence education help? There is no holier than thou party. There simply are those that use christianity for votes. And I believe we will continue to see the cost exacted in public accountability and forced repentence.

I'm just sitting on the sidelines watching our government and our leaders decay. All of them, mind you. I can't argue with you Hack. I'm not saying the Republicans are any better than the Demos. I concede the fact that both parties have deteriorated into corrupt entities. I also concede that the "D's" were definitely better leaders in this process. However, I admit the "R's" are fast learners. Eye-wink

It's terrible that a man has to fear taking his son to the bathroom in fear of what he'll encounter.

As for Git Real let me give you sicko's a fair warning. If I see your foot slide underneath my stall I'm going to stomp it and {{{{EDITED}}}} on it. Smiling

Just like you do with your ineffectual, corrupt, stupid or perverted guys. I used to think mine were above yours. I've been humbled and know I accept the fact that my guys are just like your guys. That's why I'm no longer a Republican. Fair enough?

In all honesty, my former guys can no longer count on my support "no matter what". I'm going on 4 years being GOP free. However, I still can't figure out what I am now.... Other than a "real" Conservative without a party.

I'm having a bad day and I apologize for the insult. A very good friend of mine who was gay recently passed away as a result of his lifestyle and I'm touchy about it right now. But let me tell you this in all honesty.. you say you can't figure out what you are right now and I believe that I know. A decent human being.

But he probably does vote more financially conservative eg Republican. I think we are seeing the GOP die a slow death, assuredly to be followed by the rise and fall of democrats who will suffer from overconfidence and pride.
