Where will Michael Vick end up after jail?

It looks as though Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michal Vick is eventually going to jail on dog-fighting charges. The Falcons will likely release him and take a significant cap hit. Whenever Vick is able to play again in the NFL, do you think any team would sign him? How about the Oakland Raiders, a team that is notorious for signing delinquents? Would Vick consider the Canadian Football League?

I hope he spends more than the proposed year in jail. I hope he never works again. If he gets tough sentence it would send a message to other would be thugs.

I sincerely hope all those in the 'thug' culture pay attention to what is happening to Vick. He thought he could stay 'down' with the brothers and not change his 'thuggish' ways. Well - so much for the 'Don't Snitch' culture. When the chips were down - they 'ratted' on him. Now the physical gifts of a talented human are tainted; his 'money' may be gone (to the attorneys - unless they did a pro-bono - which I doubt); he has disappointed many fans; and for what? If he admits to any of the charges - he will have to suffer the consequences. He may have been part and parcel to killing dogs. Horrible. He has been an awful role model to many young people. His attitude has been his downfall. He felt he was above the law - and that his admitted talent would keep him in football. Well - wrong. What a waste. He should have tried to help the 'brothers' in something legal - he had the money and the connections to do this. Bad choice Vick - and you will suffer the consequences for years to come. Unless owners see some definite change in his attitude - why would Canadian owners want to take the chance? Canadians are really into loving animals - just like we are. Vick is getting older - and he won't always be the 'dazzler' on the football field. What a waste. This is a wake up call for those who admire the 'thug' culture. It's a bad choice.
