Undercover drug agents from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department recently arrested a Peachtree City man who was dealing marijuana out of his apartment at Balmoral Village, police said.

Agents recovered $11,760 in cash and five pounds of marijuana from the apartment, and the marijuana was found hidden in a baby’s room, said sheriff’s Capt. Mike Pruitt. Also found in the home was a .40-caliber handgun, Pruitt noted.

The task force established surveillance on the residence after a tip from a Peachtree City police officer that drugs were being sold from the unit, Pruitt said.

Pruitt said the marijuana was advertised as being of high quality and was being sold at $1,000 for four ounces.

James Daniel Brock II, 20, of apartment 203 in Balmoral Village was arrested July 31 and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and for possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, police said.

Police also seized a car that is believed to have been used in the drug operation, Pruitt indicated.

Let's see 5# of weed here. The kid & his stash. The sheriff on TV w/ the Fed's and the how many houses growing pot from last spring? I don't think they have put their finger in the dyke yet.

The 4 arrested on the child case. I know something about one of the participants and someone has written about another one, so I guess we know what they may have been doing. You can't buy cold medicine w/out showing a driver's license but they just out sourced it from ALA trailers to Mexico.

Let's not forgit the record poppy crop in our very own liberated Afgani.

Lock everyone up. Give everyone a felony rap sheet. Don't even let them ever think about gettin' a PTCPD licker server permit.

I wish I could blame Nixon but "Reefer Madness" is not a comedy. More than 70 years of a bad idea.

You know if I thought they could OD on reefer I would almost agree with you. If they were just hurting themselves I think we should legalize every drug and let them OD. The world would be a cleaner and safer place.

No more gratuitous crime by little drugged out thugs.

What DTF? Where did the info come from?
How did a score of homes grow drugs for years right under our noses?
Miami had to tell us the addresses!!

They hid out in high dollar neighborhoods. Even if the neighbors noticed something was wrong no one wants to get involved.

Oh, I thought they would grow it in the front yard!

Sounds like the American General this morning saying that the 200 killed yesterday in North Iraq, plus 9 of ours, was "in an area where we were not there."

Then why did you ask? I wish we could just lace the stuff with PCP orsome other drug let them all OD on it. This world would be safe for us non-druggy people.
