Photos depicted 3-year-old witnessing sex act

Peachtree City police have secured arrest warrants of four people who were present when a 3-year-old girl was photographed observing sex acts at a Peachtree City home, police said.

One of the persons being arrested is the girl’s father, identified as Micah Burns, 34, of Michigan, police said.

All four persons are being charged with child molestation, including Burns and: Paul Graffeo, 39, of Shirewood, Peachtree City; Jody Graham, 43, of Pacers Walk, Peachtree City; and Lauren Barchi, 22, of Park View Lane, Alpharetta.

Graffeo and Graham have already been arrested and Barchi has agreed to turn herself in, while officers are working with Michigan law enforcement to arrest Burns, police said.

The investigation began with a tip police received Aug. 2 about sexually explicit photos that were taken at a home in Peachtree City, police said.

Exactly what part of "conservatism" should one apply to their forehead? Is it along the lines of preparations H applied directly where it hurts? Honestly though, what is your idea of conservatism?
States rights or federal powers?
Personal freedoms or laws of morality?
Nation building or non-interference?

Honest questions here Except foir the Preparation H part.

1. State Rights with limited Federal Powers. Now that's a loaded question and I just gave a loaded answer.

2. Personal Freedoms as long as those that choose immoral lifestyles are not allowed to negatively impact those that strive to live morally. That's a loaded question Hack and it would take many blogs to discuss. Ultimately you and I would agree in the end with the results being that you come out of the closet and admit that you're actually a Conservative. Eye-wink

3. Non-interference. If Nation Building fails then we nuke Iraq thus giving those that are left a clean glass slate in which to start anew.

Hope that helped buddy. BTW.....What is Preparation H Puzzled

Sounds like: I'll sort out what I like and let the feds do it, then I'll sort out what I don't like and let the states and localities NOT do it. Since they never do.
Right?

Funny you should ask. If you really want to know, I was flipping through the TV channels (what guys normally do) and went through Fox and seen some thing that caught my eye watch and then flipped again and landed on that gosh awful commercial "apply it direct to your forehead." I was feeling a bit conservative that night so I coined my new tag line. Hack, I'll get rid of it if you want but I think Git likes it.

Sung by Billie (I lost the best woman I ever had) Joel:

Don't go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before
Don't imagine you're too familiar
And I don't see you anymore
I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far
I took the good times, I'll take the bad times
I'll take you just the way you are

Creepy, isn't it? But I couldn't resist.

Very interesting and I agree with what you've written, however, can't you see certain groups with immoral lifestyles starting "compounds" here and there? Away from the groups with moral lifestyles? I think it would all become very utilitarian (should that word be capitalized when used in this context?) and left unmonitored, it could become quite scary. You're right...too many blogs to discuss it.

On another note, I hope everyone had a great 1st day back! Mine was awesome and the kids seemed excited to be back (no...really)!

Yup. And hopefully they'd start them in France or Venezuela. Smiling

My girls are ecstatic. Thanks Wildcat and Fayette County teachers for creating a learning atmosphere that creates excitement for our kids.

One has to believe that the arrests of today (including the Sheriff's drug bust) are the result of prompt and efficient law enforcement. In this case, maybe even slight delay and all the suspects are gone.

If Jim Murray wants to run for Mayor, Sheriff or Congress, he has my vote. I only regret that the Mayor and Council do not support.

Submitted by Concerned Citizen on Mon, 08/13/2007 - 5:28pm.

Not so fast on Jim Murray...I agree that the officers did a great job but I question some of Murray's reasoning skills. Why is Murray looking the other way on the Balmoral weed seller? Why do we in PTC have to rely on the Sheriff for drug enforcement? Why does Jim Murray bury his head in the sand and pretend there is no drug problem in PTC? The cash taken off this guy could be used to fight crime in PTC but it will go down the road to continue to help the Sheriff do such a great job.

Submitted by skyspy on Tue, 08/14/2007 - 5:19am.

It isn't Chief Murray who has his head in the sand on this one, it's the PARENTS. I have been critical of his seemingly lack of concern over the paths, but Murray and his cops know there is a big problem here.

Everytime a kid gets arrested for drug use the parents make excuses, or blame the cop(?) for "setting up their angel wangel pie". The parents here are so deep in denial it isn't funny. The 2 most recent busts barely, and I mean just barely touched the tip of the iceberg.

I have heard from more than on cop that the kids will actually taunt them when they arrest them. I have also heard that the cops take alot of verbal abuse off of the "parents"(useling the term very, very loosely). They tell them that their parents will not believe that they did anything wrong and will get them the best lawyer to get them off. These kids know their parents are stupid beyond belief. Listen to what groups of boys say on their golf carts as they blow by you yelling and swearing. Sometimes they are laughing about how gullible their parents are. Most of the time they are talking about the next party, or they throwing beer/liquor bottles out of the golf cart. If the parents acknowlege that a problem exists then they would actually have to take time to be a PARENT , instead of a friend.

A few years ago parents in Conyers were just as careless until some news show did an undercover investigation.....some finally woke up to reality.

The SO does the drug buys because they are set up to do it. The cities are not. PTC does not have a DTF because it requires too much in resources. Instead, they loan officers out.

The money grabbed ends up helping the whole county.

Any time you get more than a couple people together there are squabbles. On the whole, though, our law enforcement is damn good. Randall Johnson and Jim Murray are Hall of Fame material.

Having said that, are we in over our heads--- being that close to Atlanta ?

And it doesn't help having a DA who suffers from Prosecutile Dysfunction.

Submitted by CI5835 on Tue, 08/14/2007 - 1:19am.

PTCPD does not "loan officers out", in fact they have never had an officer work with the DTF, Fayetteville and Tyrone on the other hand do.

THE FIRST STEP IN SOLVING A PROBLEM IS ADMITTING ONE EXISTS.

Submitted by DWKK07 on Tue, 08/14/2007 - 4:46pm.

PCPD did previously send offiers to the DTF, but they no longer have anyone assigned to it. Fayetteville did not have anyone active on the DTF currently until a few months ago. I halfway agree with timmytim saying "THE FIRST STEP IN SOLVING A PROBLEM IS ADMITTING ONE EXISTS." The statement is true, but I'm unsure as to how this applies to the current situation. When PCPD makes drug arrests, it seems in the newspapers that the chief does acknowledge a drug problem - On the other hand, I personally don't really see him doing anything about it. I'm not so ignorant as to believe that I know everything they do, but I do know that they do not have their own drug dogs, they don't participate in the DTF anymore, and if the other article currently up about the DTF bust is any indicator it seems they may be referring out major drug cases in their own city to the sheriff's department. Like I said, I don't know why this is, but I am curious. Maybe it is staffing, I know Murray has been constantly battling with the city council in the last couple of years and not even receiving enough support in personnel to keep up with the growth in Peachtree City. They continually fail to heed his warnings it seems to me. That's just one theory though, I would like to hear from the chief or the city though.

Every arrest anywhere within 50 miles of the arresting source is credited with "assisting" in the arrest---on TV if possible. That is for budget and morale purposes.
It is 1/3 of the police academy training---how to share credit.
However when the Navy has to come in and pull people out of cars in Minnesota, then everything becomes quiet, didn't it?
Quit the bragging where not deserved, In fact quit the bragging. Only the families of the FD and PD get a jolt out of that! The rest are laughing.

Submitted by DWKK07 on Tue, 08/14/2007 - 4:48pm.

As usual, nobody knows what you are talking about. Nobody was bragging here, you're just creating some other moronic way of attacking the law enforcement that you hate so much.
