Eighteen year-old Palmetto resident Brandon Horton was murdered late Wednesday night in Fairburn after he and three friends were attacked by up to nine males.

Fairburn Police have warrants on three of the nine suspects.

Police received a call at 10:45 p.m. and responded to Signature Trace, a cul-de-sac off Creekwood Road near Johnson Road.

Officers found Horton dead, having been shot in the head with a handgun, according to Det. Charles Israel.

A tragedy indeed...what can we do...what else can we say...
How loud must we say it...With all these guns out here....
Even with our teching our kids a better way to solve problems..
The government is not helping us at all..They are simply making matter worse by allowing all sorts of guns back in the streets....

My faith in Government died a long time ago..
Thank goodness For the Old Might God...I know he will deliver us from all of this madness..It is sad to see a young life end the way this young man's did..I pray that the Lord will except him and well come him into his kingdom when that time comes...Until then.. we will continue to bless, praise and thank the Lord for Our Victory. And for the lives of all of our childred.
To the Horton Family...May God be with you and give you his peace through all of this...My The Old Might God bless you...and my he give you strength to forgive that you may continue with your life as he might want you to...
God be with you ALL...

Is your comment a joke?
I find it necessary to ask you this because if it is NOT a joke, and you were being serious, I apologize if you were doing the best that you could, and I also wish those hurting a better life.
But, even so, please check out these serious errors:

The government doesn't allow guns back in the streets by unlicensed kids. They steal them.

Old Might GOD?

Lord Of Our Victory?

Did they know the other kids? For some reason kids these days think they only way to solve a problem is with a gun.

Don't get me wrong I have a gun for self-protection and believe every one should. Fortunatly I have been able to solve my problems with crime without deadly force.

My advice to your neighborhood is hire an off-duty cop. Once a cop is in the neighborhood everything calms way, way down. Off-duty cops are worth their weight in gold.

From what the witness' are saying, they do know the other kids. What started out as a fist fight ended up in murder. But we have cops patroling the neighborhood all the time even before the shooting!!!
*Agreeing with previous poster* This was very sad and very scarey. I also wish I didn't see anything as well (just saw the aftermath, not how it all went down).
