The Michael Vick Indictment:

Mixer's picture

Click here to read the indictment against Michael Vick.

Warning: This contains disturbing allegations.

Sample:

"In April, prosecutors allege, Vick, Peace, and Quanis Phillips, "executed approximately 8 dogs that did not perform well in 'testing' sessions." These animals, the indictment claims, were killed "by various methods, including hanging, drowning, and slamming at least one dog's body to the ground."

If this is false, I hope he is acquitted.

If this is true, I hope he does jail time and I never see his face again.

What say you?

Watched ESPN yesterday and to a man they feel: #1 Vicky will never play for the Falcons again, #2 He is done for the 2007 season, and probably for 2008 as well. Praise the Lord! I hope he "never works in this town again"(or any other, but we all know how that will go)

is standing before the bench with that all too forced "angry black man" look on his puss. It is reassuring that the NFL does not have to base their decision on guilt or innocence. Hopefully they'll do what's right and can his sorry butt for "embarrassing the league".

I have a friend who retired as a NARC, one of her last cases was the big exstasy case here a few years back. From what I understand, when they start a case there is ..a lot..of evidence pointing in that direction already. They will build a case for years sometimes just to make sure you don't crawl out. They want the case to be airtight. Not that there is any doubt you did it, but the laws are on the criminals side these days..and...when you have someone like Vick, with a lot of money, you would be suprised at what crawls out of the woodwork to represent them. Remember the OJ deal? Also, you have guys that work for the DA's office, that do what they call 'flipping'. They come in, work as a prosicuter, then once they know all the loop holes, they 'flip' and go work for the bad guys at high dollar rates to get them off from everything from being dope dealers to pedfiles. sorry on spelling

I don't want to see Vick's face period. If he didn't do this, (I think he did) he had to know about it.

This happened at Vick's home, it was Vick's friends. etc. etc. The Falcons are better off without him.

My opinion

however, I think the thing that bothers me the most is the "attitude"; guilty or not, it's just that "attitude". Here and now we're talking Vick, but so many stars, public figures, et al seem to have the attitude that they are above the law, or punishment . . .kinda reminds me of 'pride going before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall' . . .
