Finally, Ward Churchill gets FIRED!

It is utterly ridiculous that it took this long for the Board of Regents to fire the plagiarizing liar and anti-Semite Ward Churchill.

Churchill and his supporters then participated in a Native American ceremony outside of the building.

Ironically, Chruchill has exploited the Native Americans by claiming to be one when it was proved he is not and in fact lied about his heritage, his education, and plagiarized much of his work.

Regardless, the narcissistic hypocrite is planning on suing the Board of Regents.

"This case was an example not of mistakes, but an effort to falsify history and fabricate history and in the final analysis, this individual did not express regret or apologize," said Brown. "This is a faculty that has an outstanding reputation and this move today protects that reputation." Said the Board spokesman.

In 2006, a university committee found Churchill guilty of academic misconduct, including plagiarism and a faculty panel recommended he be demoted and suspended for a year without pay. In May, CU President Hank Brown recommended Churchill be fired.

I was surprised to learn that he never earned a Ph.D., having only an M.A. in Communications.

"Ethnic Studies" is one of those trendy 60s or 70s non-disciplines that originated in leftist thinking and that invite crackpots like Churchill. (Sadly, philosophy departments sometimes cater to this. Can anyone tell me what "Feminist Epistemology" amounts to?)

Only a Masters---my goodness, how dare he!
It may be better than the plagiarized PHD that a great civil rights leader got, or Harry Truman's Ma's boarding school high school diploma!
Everything is relative and rules mean nothing. Ever read "Cider House Rules? Braggadocio especially sickening!

The "only" is set within a context: the man gained tenure at a major university with "only" an M.A. This is unusual, and perhaps indicative of the fact that his "discipline" is less disciplined than others.

"Everything is relative"? Why should anyone think a thing like that?
