Prayer to the Virgin Mary as Untier of Knots

“Eve, by her disobedience, tied the knot of disgrace for the human race; to the contrary, Mary, by her obedience, undid it” (St. Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon, martyred in 202)

Novena Prayer:
Holy Mary, full of the presence of God, during your life you accepted with great humility the holy will of the Father and the legacy of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, and evil never dared to entangle you with its confusion. Since then you have interceded for all of our difficulties as you did at the wedding feast of Cana. With all simplicity and with patience, you have given us an example of how to untangle the knots in our complicated lives. By being our mother forever you arrange and make clear the path that unites us to Our Lord.

Holy Mary, Mother of God and ours, with your maternal heart, untie the knots that upset our lives. We ask you to receive into your hands (here mention your prayer request) and deliver us from the chains and confusion that restrain us. Blessed Virgin Mary, through your grace, your intercession and by your example, deliver us from evil, and untie the knots that keep us from being united to God. So that free of all confusion and error, we may find him in all things, keep him in our hearts, and serve him always in our brothers and sisters. Mother of Good Counsel pray for us. Amen.

Git Real, did you know John Wayne was confirmed a Catholic?

John Wayne was a lifelong Protestant (raised as a Presbyterian), but he was married to a Catholic (in a Catholic ceremony) and he raised his children as Catholics. John Wayne's son Patrick Wayne has stated that his father converted to Catholicism two days before he died.

Yes I took a break. Respectfully, I broke away from worshipping mutha's, statues, water, and I'm now free from the bondage of being seperated from God by men who proclaim that I must enter God's presence through them and their religious gimmicks. Catholicism taught me to hate religion. For 22 years I've been free of religion only to put my trust in my Saviour Jesus Christ.

You see..... I kiss no man's ring. Trust me.... you guys didn't want me then and you wouldn't want me now. With Christ who needs all that other garbage? Smiling

Seriously though.... Can you guys picture me as an altar boy?

I'm now free from the bondage of being separated from God by men who proclaim that I must enter God's presence through them and their religious gimmicks. Catholicism taught me to love religion. For 23 years (since 1984 actually) I've been free of irreligion and have put my trust in my Savior Jesus Christ. Maranatha!

Oh, by the way, we do want you back. Smiling
