Fayetteville Planning & Zoning Commission July 10 heard a proposal to construct a one-story, 9,000 square-foot veterinary clinic at 565 S. Glynn Street.

Dr. Mike Yonker told commissioners at the work session the Summit Point clinic would include 7,000 square feet and an additional 2,000 square feet for an intensive care area. The facility would not be used as a kennel, Yonker said.

The issue will be continued at the commission’s July 24 meeting.
