Sheriff’s deputies arrested a wrestling fan from South Carolina Thursday afternoon after she threw rocks at a neighbor near the home of pro wrestler Chris Benoit.

Teresa Ann Kimbrell, 45, of Inman, S.C. was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, police said. The neighbor called deputies to the home after the skirmish, saying that he was going out to get his mail when Kimbrell tried to strike up a conversation with him, said sheriff’s Lt. Tommy Pope.

The neighbor sensed that Kimbrell was intoxicated and tried to ignore her, Pope said. After getting his mail, he turned around and began to walk back to the house when Kimbrell threw several stones at him, Pope said, adding that some of the stones struck the neighbor.

Authorities have said Benoit killed himself over the weekend after first killing his wife Nancy and their 7-year-old son Daniel. No possible motive for the killings has been revealed by officials.

Some fans have appeared at the family's central Fayette home, leaving flowers and other items in memory of the family at the gated entrance.

I'm guessing Benoit is famous for busting a guitar over somebody's head. Just a guess...

Another wrestler named Jeff Jarrett uses the guitar gimmick. It was probably left by a wrestling fan who likes the gimmick, though it doesn't really have anything to do with Benoit.

Since Benoit also had a nickname of Canadian Wolverine, I guess a guitar is better to leave than a live and very temperamental animal:)
