you can say what you want about the sport of professional wrestling, yes i said sport. these men and women we see in the ring every week train, practice, sweat, and give their all for the sport that entertains a great deal of people all over the world.
for those of us who looked to Chris Benoit as a hero, the news of this tragedy has hit hard. don't drag his name through the mud, let us remember him for his accomplishments. in my eyes nothing has been proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. just because the authorities said they they feel confident that the horrendous crimes were perpetrated by Chris Benoit doesn't mean that they have give up looking for other clues that might lead further to a truth that they haven't yet considered.
for those that would bad mouth a man after he has passed on, how would you feel if someone you looked up to, admired, and aspired to be like was accused of something as horrible as killing a child and then ridiculed and slandered to no end. you should be ashamed of yourselves. as i said before, let the man be remembered for his accomplishments, his career, and his many great contributions to the sport of wrestling.
TO psecond psyght,,Thanks, well said, we don,t know ,mabey we will never know ,live and let live, god bless his wife, him, and that bueatiful little boy, i am an old wrestler from 64,seen it all i was not a top notch , guy ,just had alot of fun ,the big names back then were all into something, it is still there today, to bad,,thanks, joe bigmack,
The folks defending this guy blow my mind.
That makes more sense.
I wonder where they all were when OJ was on trial? I wonder which double murders really bother them and the ones that don't?
The fact that people have an athlete of any kind as such a hero to the point that it causes delusional thoughts is scary. "He couldn't have done it...he was so good in the wrestling ring!" That's pathetic.
Most of the wrestling fans commenting on pro wrestling forums are being a lot harsher concerning Benoit than what is being said here. A LOT harsher. Burning tapes of any of his performances, trashing merchandise, etc. I guess that's why a few stragglers who idolized him drifted on by because it's pretty tame here.
NUK
"Burning tapes of any of his performances, trashing merchandise, etc."
Well placed, healthy emotion. Unlike the stages of grief emotion we have seen on here today. I like it.
