Who will win the World Series this season?

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game hasn't even been played yet, but it's not too early to ask the question that is on every baseball fan's mind: Who will win the World Series this season? The Boston Red Sox? The Detroit Tigers? How about the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim?

Also, does any team from the National League have a chance of winning the World Series?

Who else could you pick?
The Red Sox will be playing the Braves or the Mets in the World Series, but either will fold like a cheap suitcase and lose to the mighty Red Sox.

So happy the Yankees are out of it. Hate them.

Hey, Kev...Good thing you didn't mention the NY Chokees...Sitting in third place behind the Blue Jays, NY is only 6.5 games out on the Wild Card. Poor Curse of ARod.

Who will it be?

Yeah, it might be the Angels and the year of Vlad. Or, Ryan Howard and the Phils may cash his check of a pre-season "promise" of victory.

Or, look at the competitive dynamics of the AL Central and the NL West. You might see a team get into a real hot streak and steamroll everyone in the playoffs.

Braves-- maybe. This little tension between Smoltz and Chipper might just jump start this talented young team into contention. Guys like Frenchy are coming of age. But Renteria in the Hall of Fame? Tell Boylan to stop that nonsense. Let's see if the pitching is there. But boy oh boy do the Mets have a lineup. Expose yourself, Kev--- is it the Mets or the Yankees for you ?

Want the sure thing? Red Sox, with Beckett the AL Cy Young.
