PTC to Fairburn-Again

Another former PTC employee has gone to Fairburn. May be one soon to follow: Fairburn has posted an opening for Public Safety Director. Perhaps a certain PTC retiree is headed in that direction? The legal requirement for advertising job openings is a joke. Everyone knows the new hire has often been selected before the opening is posted, not just in Fairburn but everywhere.

Chief Murray is going to Fairburn! Buh-bye. The selection process for the new police chief will be interesting. Let's hope the city will do a nation wide search rather than hiring from within.

PTC-Fairburn Clarified

Public Safey Director is not the same thing as Police Chief. Public Safety Director is over Fire & Police Departments. No one was referring to Chief Murray. The position is posted on the city website, it is no secret.
