PTC Town Hall Meeting on TDK Blvd Tonight at 7pm

According to this mornings Newnan Times-Herald (www.times-herald.com, click on News) there is going to be a joint meeting tonight in Peachtree City on the "new" road to PTC. There will be three Coweta County Commissioners attending only to answer questions and the County's Transportation Planner will be giving a presentation on Coweta's Comp. Plan with special attention on the Land Use and transportation plans. These plans can be viewed on the Coweta County Website (www.coweta.ga.us).

Peachtree City Citizens are not the only ones who do not want this road to happen. East Coweta residents are very opposed to the increase of traffic this development will bring. Most of the transportation plans for this side of the county have been approved but they aren't slated to happen until 2010-2020 or later.

Its funny how quickly the Coweta County Commissioners will react when someone gets in their way of what they want. I'm anxious to see what Coweta County and the Developer propose to PTC to get this road back on the map.

The Coweta County Commission is holding a 6 p.m. meeting tonight, but the commission is hopeful the meeting will be done early, so three commissioners can make it to the meeting by 8 p.m. Coweta County's transportation planner should be at the meeting earlier in the evening.

I don't think this is correct..

It is my understanding the Coweta Commissioners will not be available for the meeting tonight, and the meeting certainly is not ONLY about TDK.
