I Love It! A LandslideDespite what you have read from some over and over, this election WAS over last month and the voters soundly rejected Steve Brown. Instead of 4 More Years it was No More Years. The debate, the automated telephone calls, the so-called "lack of substance," Cal's endorsement of Brown, developers, stormwater, DirectPac, blah blah blah blah none of it mattered. As what happens in any election, the VOTERS mattered and the ones who went and voted could have cared less about all the BS listed above except for maybe wanting to vote Logsdon even more. Personalities aren't the main thing? Says who? Oh yeah, people that are WRONG over and over. It's a mayoral race for God's sake, not the Presidential election or life and death. People are going to either not vote or vote for someone that seems likeable, something that Brown isn't to a lot of people. He takes pride in that too. So, a nice lesson about what you read online here. Looking at the poll the first time, Dan Tennant was leading. This time, it was a 50/50 split. You think that maybe the posters here are not reflective of the majority of voters perhaps? Yeah. You think Steve Brown represents the "average resident?" They don't seem to think so. I deal in REALITY. To some of you, that's an unpleasant reality. Gloating? I'm all about it. I'm gathering together screenshots of some of the more ludicrous stuff posted like the Divine Intervention of God getting Brown elected(I guess God didn't care after all)for posterity and an enjoyable second read through. Basking in the glory of a city free of Steve Brown's reign and by a big margin. NUK nuk's blog | login to post comments |
