Frozen Palace Outcome?

Why has it been weeks since anything was seen or heard in the news about the shooting at Frozen Palace? Could it be the police were justified so no one is having public hissy fits now? Anyone know what became of that story???

Those things take months to conclude. The law enforcement officers have to submit to an internal investigation. The county attorney has to determine what -- if any -- liability exposure the county may have. The DA has to determine if there is a criminal charge. Frankly, not that I know anything about the specifics of that situation but, I wouldn't expect to hear anything before late September.

Yes, I realize this could take a very long time to sort out, but nevertheless I am surprised that no one is screaming to "hang the police". Unfortunately police officers are often treated as "guilty until proven innocent" by the press and everyone else. There was such an outcry initially from the relatives of those shot as well as certain people who always pop up in the media when these situations occur, it just seemed unusual that nothing has been heard in weeks.
